Hex nut alone
Open assembly space, predominantly static load, and the joint is inspected on a fixed schedule. The simplest and lowest part-count option.
Source hex nuts from Ningbo Yinzhou Zhenhua Stamping Co., Ltd. when a joint calls for a standard, dependable torque path — no locking element, no special assembly sequence, just a nut that meets its thread and hardness specification on every delivery.
Choosing hex nuts by grade comes down to three inputs: the bolt property class, the proof load the joint must survive, and the service environment that decides the plating. Get those right and the remaining decision is dimensional.
Hex nut selection is a specification exercise, not a preference. These four inputs resolve nearly every grade and finish question before you open a catalogue.
A property class 8.8 bolt pairs with a class 8 nut. A 10.9 bolt needs class 10. An under-matched nut strips before the bolt yields, which turns a cheap part into an expensive failure.
The nut must carry the joint's proof load without thread stripping or dilation. This is the number that rules out soft material, regardless of how good the plating looks.
Zinc for indoor and general industrial. Black oxide for oiled or painted assemblies. Dacromet where salt spray and road exposure are real. The environment picks the coating, not the catalogue.
An across-flats tolerance that drifts stops automated feeder lines. A nut sitting a fraction high changes preload in torque-controlled assemblies. Consistency is a function, not a detail.
Zhenhua hex nuts are produced in three base materials and three finishes. The pairing is decided by the duty the joint will see, not by cost alone.
Mechanical strength and corrosion resistance come from the base metal first; the coating only extends it.
The finish is chosen against the corrosion class of the installation, not the appearance of the sample.
Common sizes produced by Zhenhua, listed against the DIN 934 dimension set. Non-standard heights and custom across-flats are available on request.

Where a nut must hold without a second part, our self-locking counter nuts are the natural upgrade. Where the joint can accept a washer, adding one from our washer range strengthens the same joint without changing the bolt.

Serrated teeth bite into the mating surface and add friction. Used for electrical connections and light-to-medium load joints with intermittent vibration.
Two independent locking mechanisms in one joint. Specified for railway, wind energy and other continuous-vibration environments where retorque is not practical.
Zhenhua has produced fasteners since 1993 and operates under an ISO 9001 quality management system, with material traceability from incoming stock through to packed carton. Send your specification and we will confirm size, plating and lead time at inquiry — whether you buy for automated feeders or private-label boxes.
