Nodes on crane beams, equipment platforms and long-span trusses carry dynamic load. Conventional spring washers rely on friction, which is consumed under sustained vibration. DIN 25201 relies on geometry instead, and paired with hex lock nuts provides double locking. Hot-dip galvanising is recommended for heavy structural duty.

Aluminium facade panels reach 80 C in summer and fall to -20 C in winter, and their thermal expansion differs greatly from steel framing. Exposed fastening points must combine appearance with protection. Countersunk safety washers suit countersunk holes, sitting flush without protruding - ideal for facade finishes and interior fit-out.

Fixing points on pipe supports, cable trays and ventilation equipment. Starlock washers are a push-on design that presses directly onto a shaft or stud without turning, suited to batch-assembled positioning structures.
